What Are Estate Wines?

Estate wines are made entirely from grapes either on land owned by the winery or controlled by the winery.

The wine is made on the property, never leaving during any stage of the wine making process.

The grapes must all come from the same viticultural area, or designated grape growing region (also called an appellation).

Ramona Valley was designated as an official American Viticultural Area  (AVA) in 2006.
